Rachel is a formally educated artist
and designer. Inspirations for her photography comes from
her love of nature, family, design and her time
living abroad, traveling and experiencing different
cultures around the world.
She was born and raised in downtown Raleigh, NC, and her adult years took her on other adventures, living in places from Italy to the Washington, DC metro area.
She returned to North Carolina in 2018, calling Chapel Hill her forever home.
Rachel is a mom to her son, Zachary and
their cockapoo dog, Ziggy and golden retriever, Stormy.
The premature birth, medical and developmental journey of her son
has given Rachel a love and appreciation of each family's unique path
and cherished milestones, that are reflected in her work.
Her personal and professional experiences ignite her passion
for working with people from all walks of life.
Through Rachel's photography lens,
she artfully captures the gift of simple,
precious moments in time and the unique
essence that makes you one of a kind.
